A course of study at the Faculty of Science is designed to impart both basic and specialized knowledge of the natural and exact sciences to students. Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees are offered.
Today, a combined Bachelor's and Master's course of study is the equivalent to what was known as a Diploma or Licentiate course of study. A Master's degree is thus equal to a Diploma or Licentiate degree. Equivalence attestations can be obtained from the Vice-rectorate Teaching. Such attestations are required, for example, when a student with a Licentiate degree wishes to begin a PhD study program.
