Die Hauptziele der Kommission werden von acht Mitgliedern der Philosophisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät vertreten und umgesetzt.
Die Kommission wird von der Vorsitzenden Carolin Schurr geleitet, hat Mitglieder aus den Instituten für Physik, Mathematik, Chemie, Biochemie, Pharmazie, Biologie, Geographie und Geologie und umfasst Vertretetende für die verschiedenen Gruppen der Professorinnen und Professoren, SNF-Professorinnen und -Professoren, Senior Researcher, Junior Researcher und Studierenden.
